10 Costume-Friendly Party Theme Ideas

Kids love a good party, and what makes parties even more fun? Costumes!

Here are ten costume-friendly party theme ideas to try out for your child’s next party.

10) Under the Sea
Girls can dress as mermaids. Boys can dress as Spongebob, Pablo the Penguin, or a turtle. And anyone can be a crab!

9) Princes and Princesses

A royal good time can happen when little kids dress up as royalty. Girls can wear sparkly dresses and tiaras. Boys can wear crowns or be the knight in shining armor.

8) Superheroes
Kids love superheroes. Batman, Spiderman, and Power Puff Girls give kids a chance to feel like they’ve got special powers and emulate their favorite movie characters or cartoons.

7) Wizards and Witches
Ever since Harry Potter, wizards are “in.” Go back in time with a “Wizard of Oz” theme, or more modern with a Harry Potter theme. What kid wouldn’t want to dress up as a magician and wave a wand around?
